Vor einigen Jahren habe ich mir eine Sweatjacke mit schrägem Reißverschluss gekauft und mag diese Sweatjacke gerne. Jedoch muss ich sagen, dass diese durchs Waschen und Trocknen etwas eingelaufen ist und nicht mehr so sitzt wie bisher. Da der Kauf damals spontan und in einem Outlet war, kann ich diese Sweatjacke nicht soeben nachkaufen. Daher musste die Nähmaschine ran.
Nach einiger Suche bin ich auf die Anleitung von der Sarooja Sweatjacke gestoßen. Christiane von Stoff & Schnitt hatte mir ein Stoffrest (20x140cm) mit Kranichen geschenkt, wo ich dachte ich hole mir noch 2 Meter mehr und mache daraus die Jacke. Da Christiane den Stoff nicht mehr vorrätig hatte, habe ich im Internet danach gesucht und auch gefunden. Dachte ich, der Stoffrest ist eine Art mintgrün und gekauft habe ich ein Olivgrün. Irgendwie passte das nicht zu mir. Dafür konnte ich einer Freundin eine Freude machen und ihr die Jacke in dem Kranich-Muster nähen.
Die Anleitung ist sehr gut und detailliert beschrieben, ich würde diese keinem Anfänger empfehlen. Einige Punkte habe ich etwas für mich angepasst, ich wollte keine Applikationen und trotzdem Taschen mit und ohne Reißverschluss.
Bisher habe ich diese Sweatjacke 5-mal genäht und bin irgendwie süchtig danach. Ich finde das Schnittmuster einfach super.
A few years ago I bought a sweat jacket with a slanted zipper and like this sweat jacket. However, I have to say that this has run in a bit due to washing and drying and no longer sits as before. After some searching I came across the instructions of the Sarooja sweat jacket. Christiane from Stoff & Schnitt had given me a fabric remnant (20x140cm) with cranes, where I thought I would get another 2 meters more and make the jacket out of it. Since Christiane no longer had the fabric in stock, I searched for it on the Internet and found it. The fabric remnant is a kind of mint green, but I bought a fabric in olive green. Somehow it didn’t suit me. But I was able to make a friend happy and sew her jacket in the crane pattern.
The instructions are very good and described in detail, I would not recommend this to any beginner. Some points I have adapted a bit for myself, I did not want any applications and still bags with and without zipper.
So far I have sewn this sweat jacket 5 times and I am somehow addicted to it. I think the pattern is just great.
