Ein weiteres Projekt für die Leerung meiner Woll-Kisten. Diesmal habe ich mich an Topflappen gewagt, da ich aber nicht einfach nur Streifen als Muster haben wollte, musste es schon was witziges sein.

Die Topflappen von Vinther für Tee und Kaffee sind sehr interessant. Hier wird mit der Interlock-Technik (auch unter Kästchenmuster oder Filetkästchen bekannt) gearbeitet. Dies kannte ich schon von Window To The Whirl und fand das dort schon super. Jedoch ist es nicht einfach nur die „Fenster“ häkeln, sonder man muss in einer Reihe mal vorne und hinten häkeln. Da hatte ich am Anfang schon etwas Schwierigkeiten (und beim schreiben dieses Blog-Eintrag entdecke ich gerade ein Fehler beim Tee-Topflappen).

Für die Kontrastfarbe habe ich etwas mehr als 27 Gramm verbraucht, da kann man aus einem Knäuel nicht direkt zwei machen, für die Hintergrundfarbe (hier blau) kann man auch zwei Topflappen aus einem Knäuel arbeiten.

Vinther’s pot holders for tea and coffee are very interesting. Here, is the interlock technique (also known as box patterns or fillet boxes) used. I already knew this from Window To The Whirl and thought it was great. However, it is not just crocheting the „windows“, but you have to crochet in a row at the front and back. I had some difficulties at the beginning (and while writing this blog entry I just discover a mistake with the tea pot holder).

For the contrast color I used a little more than 27 grams, due this you can not make two potholders from one ball, for the background color (here blue) you use one ball for two pot holders.
