Shrug ist die englische Bezeichnung für eine Bolero Jacke. In diesem Fall ist es eine Variante, die aus einem Rechteck gefertigt wird und bei der die Seiten zu Ärmeln zusammengenäht werden und wird daher auch als Seelenwärmer bezeichnet.

Die Anleitung des Indigo Shrug von Tatsiana Kupryianchyk, Autorin des Blog Lilla Björn Crochet, ist Teil der „Yarn – The After Party“-Reihe von Scheepjes. Und eines der Anleitungen, die auf meiner Liste stand, die ich immer mal machen wollte.

Auch wenn ich Whirls in Blautönen habe, habe ich mich dagegen und mich für Scheepjes Whirl 764 Red Velvet Sunrise entschieden. Und den passenden Whirlette 864 Citrus hatte ich auch. Jedoch was mir schon immer nicht beim Whirl 764 Red Velvet Sunrise gefiel, ist das Pink. Entschuldigung, aber ich mag Pink nicht, daher habe ich tatsächlich den Pinkanteil rausgenommen und nur orange und lila als Farbkombinationen genommen.

Even if I have whirls in shades of blue, I decided against it and opted for Scheepjes Whirl 764 Red Velvet Sunrise. And I also had the matching Whirlette 864 Citrus. However, what I always didn’t like about the Whirl 764 Red Velvet Sunrise is the pink. Sorry, but I don’t like pink, so I took out the pink part and only used orange and purple as color combinations.
