Nach meinem Queen CAL Chunky Monkey Test, habe ich nun die eigentliche Decke fertig. Die Anleitung ist weiterhin von Tinna, aber diesmal habe ich die „Small Horizontal Queen“ gewählt, die aber um einiges größer ist als „Large Horizontal Queen“ wie bei der Queen CAL Whirl.

Warum habe ich die „Small Horizontal Queen“ gewählt, im Test hatte ich schon beschrieben, dass die Decke eine gewisse Breite haben soll, jedoch habe ich nicht die Länge bedacht. Daher dachte ich nehme die Breite wie in der „Small Horizontal Queen“ beschrieben und die Länge wie in der „Large Horizontal Queen“ beschrieben. Doch zum Glück hat mich jemand vor Beginn gefragt wie lang die Decke wird. Daraufhin habe ich beim Test die Stäbchen Höhe gemessen und grob überschlagen wie lang die Decke wird. Und siehe da, die Decke wäre knapp 6 Meter lang geworden, ein wenig sehr lang.

Ohne Rand ist die Decke 138x194cm groß, mit Rand 145x200cm. Den Rand habe ich in halben Stäbchen gehäkelt, da ich zwei Runden haben wollte, aber den Rand nicht zu breit. In den Ecken habe ich eine Luftmasche genommen.

Ich bin überaus glücklich mit dieser Decke, die ist kuschelig warm. Perfekt für den Winter.

After my Queen CAL Chunky Monkey test, I now have the actual blanket ready. The pattern is still from Tinna, but this time I chose the „Small Horizontal Queen“, which is much larger than „Large Horizontal Queen“ like the Queen CAL Whirl.

Why did I choose the „Small Horizontal Queen“, in my test I had already described that the blanket should have a certain width, but I did not consider the length. Therefore, I thought take the width as described in the „Small Horizontal Queen“ and the length as described in the „Large Horizontal Queen“. But luckily someone asked me before the beginning how long the blanket will be. Then I measured the Double Crochet (US-Term) height during the test and roughly overturned how long the blanket will be. And lo and behold, the blanket would have been almost 6 meters long, a little too long.

Without edge, the blanket is 138x194cm in size, with edge 145x200cm. I crocheted the edge in half Double Crochet (US-Term) because I wanted to have two rounds, but the edge would not be too wide. In the corners I made a one chain instead of two.

I am extremely happy with this blanket, which is cuddly warm. Perfect for winter.
