Ich wollte eine Schildkröte für einen geliebten Menschen machen. Weil diese Person Schildkröten mag, habe ich versucht, eine Anleitung zu finden. In einem Woll- und Stoffladen habe ich das Buch „Wollobies“ von Jana Ganseforth gefunden, hier gibt es die Anleitung für Siggi Schildkröte.

Danach habe ich versucht, organisches Garn zu finden, das auch für ein Kind oder Baby geeignet wäre. Als ich ein Garn fand, das wie auf dem Bild aussah, war ich froh, dieses Amigurumi zu starten. Aber als ich anfing, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Schildkröte am Ende nicht so groß sein wird. Am Ende war diese Schildkröte winzig. Die Schildkröte war am Ende kleiner als meine Handfläche. Aber es sah trotzdem süß aus.

Eine weitere Schildkröte mit Scheepjes, diese war etwas größer, aber am Ende immer noch winzig.

I wanted to make a turtle for a loved one. Cause this person does like turtles, so I tried to find a pattern. In a wool and fabric shop I found the book “Wollobies” by Jana Ganseforth, here there you got the pattern for Siggi Schildkröte (turtle).

I tried to find organic yarn, which would be suitable for a child or baby too. When I found a yarn, which looked like the picture I was happy to start this amigurumi. But when I started, I got the feeling the turtle won’t be that large at the end. In the end this turtle was tiny. The turtle was in the end smaller than my hand palm. But it still looked cute.

It tried another version with Scheepjes, this one was a little bit larger but, in the end, still tiny.
